Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what information Poo Patrol collects when you request a quote or sign up for service, how we use it to keep your yard poop-free, and the choices you have. The short version: we only collect what we need to serve you, we never sell your information, and you can reach a real person any time with questions.

Who we are

Poo Patrol is a locally owned and operated dog-waste-removal service based in Evansville, Wisconsin, serving Rock and parts of Dane and Green Counties. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect from customers and visitors to our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or requesting service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We only collect the basic details we need to give you a quote and provide service. When you fill out our free-quote or contact form, or sign up for service, we typically collect your name, home or service address, phone number, and email address, along with anything you choose to tell us about your yard and your dogs. Our online scheduling and booking is handled through Sweep&Go, a third-party platform built for pet-waste-removal businesses, which collects the same contact and service details when you sign up. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use your information

We use your information to prepare and send you a quote, schedule and provide your service, communicate with you (for example, texting you when we are on the way and sending after-service and gate-latched photos), send service reminders and account updates, and respond to your questions. If you have a billing relationship with us, we also use it to invoice and process payment for the service you receive. We do not use your information for anything beyond running our business and serving you well.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We share it only with the trusted service providers that help us run the business, such as our Sweep&Go scheduling platform, and any payment or communication tools we use to serve you, and only to the extent they need it to do their job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public. These providers are expected to keep your information secure and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to understand how visitors use it, so we can improve it over time. If we use analytics tools, they collect general, non-identifying usage information such as pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. Most web browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; doing so should not stop you from requesting a quote or contacting us.

How we protect and keep your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit access to those who need it to serve you. We keep your details only as long as we need them to provide service, meet our business and legal obligations, and maintain our records. When we no longer need your information, we take reasonable steps to delete it or remove details that identify you. No method of storing or sending information is ever completely secure, but we work to safeguard the information you share with us.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal details we hold about you, and you can opt out of non-essential messages at any time. To stop text or email updates, just reply to let us know or contact us using the details below. Because we are a small local service, the simplest way to make any of these requests is to call or message us directly, and we will take care of it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business or the tools we use change. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically so you always know how we handle your information.
